Associate Technical Manager

The Associate Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple project teams through the entire life cycle for technical services engagements, including pre-sales and consulting, scoping and negotiation, client and project management, resource allocations, deployment, and customer support.

Job Description

  • Scope, plan, negotiate, and manage the design and development of websites and web applications
  • Work with leads to facilitate specification, design, implementation and deployment of client solutions
  • Manage projects to budget including time and materials, fixed fee, and not to exceed contracts
  • Regularly communicate budget and project status to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Build successful project teams
  • Oversee work quality, timeliness, and professionalism of software developers
  • Support sales process and develop new and recurring business opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • Education: BA/BS in a technical field
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience leading small development teams and/or consultants required; history of successful project leadership in high profile application development required; demonstrated success in client and project management required; experience working in a professional services environment and knowledge of multiple project management styles preferred. Technology background in at least 3 of the following: XHTML/CSS, JavaScript, Java, XSLT, .NET, C#.
